Kristine Kathryn Rusch, (1960 – ) is an American writer of Science Fiction, Fantasy, Mystery, Romance and more. Rusch has won the Hugo Award for both fiction and editing. She is a former editor of The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction and writes a column in Æon Magazine. Her fiction is often put out under pseudonyms (male and female) and she’s written many media tie in novels (Star Trek, X-Men, Star Wars and more). Her “retrieval artist” series of novels was recently released as a set of Audible.com exclusives. On July 10th 2008, the audio version of first novel in the series (The Disappeared) was released free for a limited time.
